We knew purchasing a home we would want and need an inspection, when we had this company come out (specifically Jake and Kevin) we did not realize we would be getting a fine tooth comb inspection. They were so awesome, let us know what they were doing along the way, were very cordial and professional and by far the best experience we could have asked for. Usually you’re worried what you’re getting into buying a new house but they gladly put our minds at ease and proved to us we made a great choice! Kevin and his associate did an inspection for us - The inspection was faster than usual, however they were two person vs the usual 1 person. They did arrive on time despite horrendous weather conditions that day with bad roads.
They brought to our attention many important details - Outside of the classic and expected information they noted a few area that needed further inspections.
We called in expert, and the oddity noted by Kevin translated on much needed works to be done on the house. This would have run in near $100K of work just for safety as well as several weeks of works. We walked away of the house - sadly - However, the seller removed the house from the market after that - It sat empty for weeks with many contractor coming in and out - Months later the house came back on the market - Kevin was right.
We were so glad we walked away. It was a sound financial decision.
